    Retro Birdies

Made these silly little birds for a small project and sure have had a good time with them. The singing one is in honor of a certain starling who frequents my neighborhood and really puts on a show.....

These would be perfect for textile designs.

Im sure your project will turn out great if these are any example of it! What fine graphic pieces!

Wenkat, Skylar and Scott.....glad you enjoyed these!
Wenkat, the colors were a treat to work with....the whole "retro" color theme is pleasingly bright and off-key.
Skylar, these were directly influenced by the very popular "pop" quilter's cottons that are a big deal right now; hence the textile feel. Retro birdies are all the rage in fashion quilt fabric. Hah!
And Scott, I'll share a photo of the finished items, for sure.

Considering the vaguely threatening title (at least in idiomatic Italian), I was a little worried, so, opening it, I turned my head and checked my back ... Just kidding! They're very likeable!

Foxy, these are really special, they are all so good. Love the all black one though, think that is my favourite. Well done

Just gorgeous Foxy... those three coloured pieces would make stunning modern cushion fabrics or a wonderful series of prints.
