Lion (or is it Lyin') In The Grass

Acrylic and airbrush techniques. I hadn't done an animal in a long time, and I've had this laid out for weeks. So here he is.

Wow Skylar what a magnificent painting of such a proud creature. You can almost hear him thinking... "emmmmmmmmmm good life this, shes out catching my dinner whilst I catch a few rays".
Its another one of your fabulous paintings that I enjoy so much

Very nicely done, Skylar! Always a joy to see your work!

Grogeous painting as always Skylar. Great work on the lion. Very believable posture and expression.

The entire thing is just excellent, but the way you captured the expression that I've seen on so many lions at zoos, on tv,etc., is just remarkable.
    Well done!
