First ArtRage painting! :)

So I've had ArtRage for a little while now, and I've been experimenting a lot with different techniques to try and get to grips with it.

This is my first full picture I've attempted (it's for my history homework about women's rights). It's a drawing of a man, from around the 20th century, with a view into his mind. The padlock is meant to represent how men of that period had very closed minds and wouldn't allow the women any freedom.

It's not perfect, I know, but I would like some criticism to help me improve! I need to draw a woman soon for the same history homework, so any tips would make my second drawing even better
