    ship in a stormy sea

When I started this, I thought I was doing a desert landscape...dry, quiet, still...
And then the fates intervened and all of a sudden I found myself swept out to sea. Ah well...the best laid plans and all that.

Mostly oil with a little airbrush and some glitter; knife, eraser, eraser and a bit more eraser.

Wonderful painting, delicious rich moody colour, love the angle on the boat evoking the power of the storm.
