Gosh it looks almost 3 dimensional! Makes me think of a little hobbits house

Really neat use of the texture stuff. I find my eyes wandering all over the page looking to discover a new texture spot.

Wonderful, and creative, Ms Coops. Really a treat watching you stroll through the tools in the program and letting them work with you. Such a cottage feel, while the paint application. . .or in this case, the manipulation, supports the theme of a warm welcoming door.

It's remarkable how you can do such stuff to the paint, and still always manage to keep the atmosphere, in this case the warm light, so convincing. Sometimes it's like watching an aerialist. Commanding artistic work.

Such an atmosphere. Hearth and home and welcome. Utterly charming.

This is fantastic, stunning, dear Katie! It's a 3-D, a sculpted painting!
If You wish also to test some possible tip or trick to remove a little the plasticine effect from the paint tube strokes, You might try with some metallic airspray and/ or very light pressure chalk, maybe after some light pressure sharp blending knife touches ... I'd be quite curious.
