Tone's Sticker Brushes - Graphite, Ink, WateColors..

    Hi!

I want to share my personal Sticker brushes that I just made with ArtRage 3 Studio Pro...

I'am not quite happy with the default pencils and ink tool so I tried to emulate these with Sticker Sprayers.

I think that I manage to get quite good graphite pencil emulation with stickers.. they now blend much more nicely to the canvas texture (so no more white spots on canvas).

I also wanted to try improve Ink tool lines quality(the end of stroke), so called tapering. I think that I didn't manage to get exactly what i wanted.

These brushes have been calibrated to my tablet (wacom cintiq 12wx) and tablet driver use "default" Tip Feel. Some of these use Tilt -function if I remember right.

I wish that someday in future, ArtRage will offer Color blending option in Sticker Sprayer (Smudge), so that I don't have to use Layers Blending modes. Also Ink tool need little improving.. tapering?

Also SPEED or VELOCITY could be a good parameter to control brush dynamics, this is what I heavily use with MyPaint in my Nokia N900.
Also some sort of Scaling for values could be a great.

I use ArtRage Studio Pro with conjuction with SketchBook Pro. They complement each other very well.. I think. I can jump easily between those.. Cut, Copy and Paste ..

I am longtime Painter user(almost ten years), but now it's gathering dust.

I love this great artists program Thanks!

Oh.. now I stop and try to focus on some art making...

    Exclamation Sticker Brush color blending..

Oh.. and I do suggest to using Layers with Blending mode "Multiply" or similar when using Fake WaterColor Brushes, Sea Wave Brushes ..

..those use "Luminance" with Pressure Sensitivity so when you push hard you get White (in case, when you are not using BLACK(color). Experiment please

I would like to know if you are find those brushes useful

    Thumbs up

Awesome presets, every one. I'm especially digging the glutch and sketchbook pencils.

    Truly great stuff, Tone. Thanks.

I am glad to hear that those Sticker Spray presets are useful.

It is so fun experience to push ArtRage brush engine limits and find new things about it.

  9. Awesome presets!! Thank you!

Thanks kindly... I'll nab these when I get home.... Look forward to playing with 'em....

Just curious what can Sketchbook Pro do that ArtRage can not and vice versa? I know of Sketchbook Pro but not really familiar with it...

    Cheers

    Ken
