Newbie question about opening color palettes

    Help!

I can see through windows explorer that I have an assortment of .col files under resources/colors. (Oil Spectrum, Pastel Hues, Greys, etc.)
But how do I open them in the Artrage3 Studio to use them?

None of these show up in custom color pickers, is that something different?
I can get compliments, ranges and photos, but "pickers" says "empty group".

Please explain to me step by step how to open one of these palettes that I have to use it.

    Thank you so much.

.col files are Color Samples, not custom pickers. If you use the Samples panel and open the files you should see them load.

Yoou can access the .col files by clicking on the samples box, and with the little menu-icon (shown with arrow) you can go to the .col files.

    Have fun !

Just say: "Rage It", because we already know it's art.

another tip is that after you download them you have to reboot windows to be able to get to the .col file.

Also if you don't see them in your file, change the file type to "all files" "*.*".

Am I correct on these two points techies??

Please correct me if I am wrong on these two points.

    Thank you!

I was able to open them with this help.

When I first clicked on samples and did this, the "colors" folder was empty.
Apparently by default it opens the user folder and I hadn't added any yet. But when I went to the colors folder that came with the program, I found the palettes that also were included.

Now I look forward to adding a few more that I've seen here.
I've been having a blast with some of the stickers I've downloaded. Members here are so cool!

    Thanks again.
