    Question Can't save jpg

    Hi,
I'm using ArtRage Pro Studio Demo and I have created a MASTERPIECE! Well at least I like it... ANYWAY, when I try to export the image to .JPG I get an error that reads something like as follows:

    "Generic memory error"

And sometimes it just plane crashes.

    Any ideas?

    Could you let us know:

1/ What operating system you're using
    2/ What dimensions are your image in pixels? e.g. 2500 x 1600
3/ How many layers you have in your image.
4/ Is there any further information in the crash message you see?

    1/ Windows XP Media 2004
    2/ 1920 x 1080
    3/ 4 layers
4/ I ran through the process again and wrote it exactly as it appeared: "Error. Generic Failure. Not enough memory to perform action."

I tried flattening the image and then exporting but no dice. Also I tried exporting each layer but still no dice.

    Thanks for your swift response.

Thanks for the information. The ArtRage Demo version is limited to files of 1280 x 1024 in size, so if you have created a larger file you may have downloaded a version that attempts to bypass some of the demo limitations and this is likely to be causing the memory error and crash.

I'd recommend downloading the official demo from our website at http://www.artrage.com/artragedemo.html and also doing a full virus and malware scan on your system just as a precaution, as we can't vouch for the safety or stability of any unofficial version.

Aha, bypass like how? I was given the demo installer by a friend of mine. I will get the official on here.

    Thanks for the help.
