    Ginger's Last Bloom

I actually did this at the same time as the Rose & Bud, but felt it wasn't as good, so decided to wait to post it, so it wouldn't be compared. Sounds pretty Cautious!
AND - I wanted to post something other than the Fantasy Stuff I'm working on right now.

This is beautiful. I especially love the way you've captured the firmness of the green around the emerging bud and the soft velvety feel of the petals on the bloomed flower. I can see the texture of them both and the contrast between them.

    Thank you for sharing.

Skylar....these flowers you painted are just dropped dead gorgeous - almost like the "real" thing! The only difference is you put so much more care and love into these flowers as though you grew them yourself. I guess in a way, you did! Wonderful...........

Magen and Alex - Thank you so much for commenting.
Eileen - I have to laugh at your comment, as this is my own Ginger plant in my garden - I indeed grew it myself! Thank you!! This was the last cluster of blooms before it went dormant for the season. (I did add the bud for a sort-of Exclamation mark)
