Wow Pete. Getting painterly, where the painting is not so much trying to fool the eye, as direct the mind to the subject, with everything working, but in a stylistic way. Very cool. Something to explore. Looks great. The lighting is good. Also like the way you did the bushes.

Very nice place. I like it. The hills in the background are very nice. It reminds me of my grandpa's home.

Peter, this is awsome.... lovely and beautiful in every way... starting with the sky...so sparkley clean like windows of heavens only are...and underneath the sleepy hills faraway enclosing the horizon of a beautiful summer day do lead us so faraway... and right in front of us the river flows quietly, bringing life to this marvell ... and the whole scene so piecefull, one rejoices that this kind of corner of the world still exist...Thumbs up!!!!

this is a lovely painting as all your paintings are, the scene is so peaceful and tranquile (sp?) and the depth is wonderful
