    AR Crashing

I get a fair amount of cases where AR locks up (about once a day). Is anyone else having this kind of issue?

Is there any pattern to what you are doing just before you see the problem? Just for clarification, the application ceases to respond, rather than a crash occuring, is that correct? In vista this would tend to be shown by the titlebar displaying the 'Not responding' message. If you leave it for a few moments, does it recover?

A couple of things which may help:

Check that you have downloaded and installed the latest sound drivers for your system from the manufacturer's site specifically ( not via Windows update ) as I notice a reference to AudioClientRpc. I've seen a few similar hangs involving Windows explorer and other applications with a similar message which were solved by updating audio drivers.

Make sure that you're using the latest updates and service pack for Windows ( you problably are already, but just in case )

Also, see if going to Edit -> Preferences -> Interface and unchecking 'Play sounds' makes any difference.
