Can you change the default color selector?

This is in regards to Artrage 2.5
I almost never use the default color selector, and
it gets aggravating having to load another everytime
I start up. Is there a way to change the default colors
with one of my choosing, so that it becomes the default color selector when Artrage opens?

    thanks.

If you're referring to custom contents in the colour picker roundel at the bottom right, that isn't saved as a default setting for when you launch ArtRage.

If you're referring to colour sets in the colour samples panel ( Tools -> Show Colour samples panel ), these are saved with paintings, so while it's not possible to start ArtRage up with a specific colour set loaded by default, if you create a blank painting, then load the colour set you want to use and save the painting, launching ArtRage by double clicking on that file will load the blank painting including your colour set.

I'm referring to the color selector at the bottom right.
I attached a pic, if that clears up any confusion.

Thanks for the clarification. While the colour picker setting mode ( RG/B. HL/S etc ) is preserved between sessions, custom colour pickers are not permanently set, so it's not possible to have ArtRage launch with a custom colour picker already loaded.

If you are loading a colour picker from an image file each time, you can speed up the process by adding it to the menu if you haven't already done so, either via 'Create custom colour picker' from the colour picker menu, then saving the result, or by placing the file you wish to use as a colour picker in your custom colour pickers folder ( Pickers ) in ArtRage's resources folder. See this thread for the location of that folder for ArtRage 2.5 - http://www2.ambientdesign.com/forums...ead.php?t=6833

Then you can load it via opening the colour picker menu -> Custom Pickers -> Pickers and clicking on your custom colour picker file.
