    Changing thickness of stencils

The stencils in ArtRage are great but when I import and make my own if I use a color it shows through where the red is.
What is the secret to making my stencils only put color where the blanks are and not under the red areas? I looked and can't find options for thickness or opacity of the stencils.

Also - how can I make the edges sharper and less fuzzy?

    Thanks!

Have a look at the following thread. I think it covers pretty much everything.

You should use black for the areas that you want paint and white for the non-painted areas. Colors give you semi-opaqueness. I put a large white or blank box around my stencils so I am less likely to go over the edge.

Sorry I didn't get back sooner. I read the advice and tried it and it worked perfectly! Thanks so much!
