Illustration from new book done in AR

I am posting over on general discussion about the book we have just published through Blurb, this is one of my illustrations in it.

How dynamic and empowering. The ultimate excitement for a boy like a carnival ride. The scarf is a great touch in that it shows speed, but also makes allusions to biplane pilots, the ones known for aerobatics.

It feels not unlike myself upon my bicycle at that age.

You framed the ideas very well indeed and into a single picture, for this page anyway. And no doubt there are many more through the pages.

Well done to you and your wife!

Thanks both of you guys! The scarf was my wife's idea, but the hovercraft wheelchair was mine--she had to go back and re write most of the book because I came up with it. Er, and I came up with it because?? Wheels were such a pain to draw, thats why!

Rob, this is wonderful. I've gotta see if I can find your thread about the book - is this, like, a whole story you've written and illustrated????
