    Summer at the Lake

Made this with one of my kiddos last night, a grumpy 5-yr-old who had a rough day.
It's a basic stencil filled with stickers. This makes an excellent project to do with very young kids. Visually, it's very rewarding, it's quick to set up, and it's fun to choose which stickers to use. And then there's the rainbows.....hard to not feel better about the world when you're filling something up with rainbows.
The result made us both think of summer days on Lake Michigan, so we added strings to the bird to make a kite.

What a great result from an attempt to manage a grumpy kid! Love the colors! IŽd try something like this with my son, but heŽs 37 and probably wouldnŽt find it very interesting.

What a soaring bundle of joy. It's as if Noah's dove that he sent out to find dry land actually brought back the rainbow, and swallowed.

And I thought this breed went extinct right after the 60s.
