    desert sunset

Although I'm usually "tied" to a reference photo, I like to go out on a limb and try strictly imaginative works once in a while. This was started months ago in 2.5 and then put aside when I couldn't quite get the look I wanted. It still doesn't match my inner vision but I played around with the mountains and am calling it done. Mostly oil with a little glitter and some airbrush for accents and backfill, knife and generous amounts of eraser!

    As always, C&C welcome.

Hi JB. I really like the sky with and the clouds in the distance are very cool. The birds add alot to the depth of this painting. Beautiful sunset.
