here a painting I did last night trying to render stained glass. the result is very fine, I never reached to make such textures, so I'm glad to have discovered a new way of painting...

When I have a little more time, I'll show the two layers I used an tell some words about the tools I used too cause the mix of them is very interesting...

    hi,
I wanted to tell how I did my painting and what I discovered, hope it'll help

So, first layer contains the colors, I started thinking in Ray's technic he used with his trees (thanks Ray) but the result is not really the same! But it doesn't matter. What is interesting is that the use of paint tube gives nice light effects near from glass or crystal reflects. Then, I used the knife.

The second layer is above the first and blend "hard light" 100% opacity. Which is interesting is the mixing of the color : black gives shadow, blue gives pretty effects when mixing with the red of the other layout. another good thing is that using textured paper gives some type of shadows whenever the paper is white. In this case, just the shadow of the paper is projected on the other layer.
Finally, use of differents tools (roller, oil brush) add more textures.
So, here's a way of using layers, that's all !

I hope you made it large enough to printed at a size it deserves. It begs observation and study. Outstanding work, ogside.
