    the figurehead ...............

    Sharp and open
    Leave me alone
    And sleeping less every night
As the days become heavier and weighted
    Waiting
    In the cold light
    A noise
A scream tears my clothes as the figurines tighten
    With spiders inside them
And dust on the lips of a vision of hell
I laughed in the mirror for the first time in a year...............

good old robert smith .of the cure, always has the right words ..........

not quite finished but thought i'd post it ,,,,,,,,,

Man, what an imagination you have lol. This looks very creepy; that means you have created something that stires the senses, enough to create a feeling in the image. That's what I call remarkable talent

As so often with your work I find I am lost in search of meaning. The lyrics helped a lot. Not saying I mind being lost once in awhile. ... especially in your artwork. It's quite a bold image David. A bit terrifying, but I can't really figure out why.

A lot going on here! I really like the dark woods in the bg. I don't think the bottommost figure does anything for the painting but still you must have your reasons for it being there. Good job!
