    Yellow Flowers

This is my second attempt at a painting - I think I have a lot to learn

Done with three layers (easier to delete mistakes ) and a very gloopy pen

Charming. Almost takes on a feel of a crafts item in 3D, as if it could be made of glass or something with volume. It's showing off the items with great clarity as opposed to all bunched together in a bouquet.

All of the above. There is a wonderful playfulness here that almost masks the attention to detail. The white background conveys a sense of innocence.

Thank you all for your comments

Mr D Akey, I do do a lot of patchwork and machine embroidery and without realising it I've just noticed that it is similar to a piece I've nearly finished

Robert, I haven't been called 'innocent' for a very long time
