    Export Image Size

    Hi,

I would like to export my image to a .png or .jpg - but the file size offers no option and comes out + or - 300k.

This is not good enough for print.

Is there a way to adjust the file size or an alternative method to creating printing files?

    Thanks!

    Mike

I guess that we will need some info on the size of your canvas and the size you wish to print to in order to help you more

ArtRage Studio Pro (update version 3.0.6) allows a user to change the compression for Jpegs by going into the Preferences Panel and then to the Export option at the bottom. Change the quality by dragging the slide bar left or right (or click on the number and type it in). Click ok to accept the changes and then when you export, your jpeg's will take on the compression percentage.

For printing though, it'd be better if you stuck with TIFF or PNG files, which are lossless file types.

What Someonesane said + if you work with AR2.5 stick with TIFF
