At the risk of asking a stupid question: is this real oils/knife, or in Artrage? It's a great painting, especially how textural it is!

I'm in awe in front of such a fabulous painting, dear AT-TA! You're absolutely great! Your impasti colours, textures are superb and the portraid or imaginary girl has charm of an ancient pagan goddess!
Another really moving hymn to the beauty and the youth.
Since You probably know some Italian (having been here) here's fitting short lyrics:

    Quant' bella giovinezza
    che s'en fugge tuttavia,
    chi vuol esser lieto sia,
    del doman non v' certezza.

Lorenzo il Magnifico (Lawrence the Magnificent)
    Panta rei (everything flows)!

Hello and welcome to AR, LPBaker. And thank you for your kind words.
The whole picture is done in Art Rage. Oil brushes, tube and knife.

Also to you, mannafig and coops. So kind from you, commenting so nicely on this little work. You must know by now that i love to paint faces, especially the children's...love that innocence in them, they remind me of flowers in the garden, they grow, they bloom and then... you know what happens... such a short time it all takes and then... the wind of knowledge blows in that garden, where theywere growing...and blows it all off, far away...:-)

P.S. Shouldn't read that art debate in another threat... that deals about art.. what it is... go and read and participate also..:-)

This is just so beautiful and so endearing, AT-TA! I love your splash of colors especially with the background. With all those colors and the wonderful paint textures adds so much emotion to this gorgeous piece. I'm so glad you love to paint faces because you do it so well and with so much feeling...for each and every brush stroke!
