    fairy Encounter

This is my latest pic that I am doing and I am forcing myself to slow down to see if it makes an improvement on my work. compared to my usual of starting and finishing on the same day.
I am also going to try to do better with my background image as I usually get bored and rush that part.
Anyway I hope you enjoy looking at this.

    Thank you dear Rose.
I think it stems from when I used to paint on canvas I always had to get it done and packed away the same day when I was a teen and then when I had kids.

It looks good so far! If you don't mind I would suggest you to first block all values and colors in the picture and roughly decide the overall lighting, instead of starting painting single parts of the surfaces. This will help you fixing problems from the beginning instead of discovering them later after you maybe spent countless hours on the piece :P Anyway thanks for sharing the process of your painting, it's very interesting

Looking at this start, I bet all (maybe jus keep my pants) on a masterpiece as the ending outcome!
I'm also quite curious to see who's going to be the fairy on Your husband's hand (it's him, right?). I mean, either You or Your daughter (provided we can teel, due to the impressive likeness).
    Panta rei (everything flows)!

Thank you dear Cesare I hope I can deliver what you bet
No this is not my husband he is a friends husband (lucky girl) and the fairy is going to be from my imagination.
