    The Reading Table (revised)

    Just a little still life - exploring drawing diverse objects. From scratch, One layer. I have posted the short demo on my website.
    I tweaked this some - didn't like the goblet. Might do more.

    Lovely rich colour in this piece, adore the treatment of the books the writing on the spines looks amazing as well as how well loved they look. The metals of the cup are really nice but i have to admit the blur is playing havoc with my old eyes a little
