Hello Hanz
Still there Heye...
Happy to read you. I have a couple of weeks to spend so...
I'm there back to the tools...
See you,
Best,
Weeks
Thank you Hinket for the kinds words.
I like so much to "re"paint our Masters' masterpieces.
For me it is one of the best way to learn how to paint and in my case, how to use the digital tools like AR3 or/and Painter.
With "Juan" i'm not completly satisfied, because the reference i had was a bad one
I have another one that i'll post soon and i'll show diff steps.
I hope that it'll help.
Best,
Weeks
Heye Speegie
Thank you so much for the words. Oh, you know, i do my best, and the Masters are still the Masters. I never forget.
But your question was good, i thought i could stop to paint. Now it's just for the pleasure.
Best,
Weeks
Nice to meet you Alexandra and thank you.
Best,
Weeks
ps : i have a little prob with the JPG conversion, from AR3 snapshot to PS.
The result is a bit to "orange" comparing to the original...?
I'll shake this out.

The texture reminds me of fabric, very well defined and detailed. Awesome work!

Hi Weeks, is the first time I see your work , I hope you don't mind for the question.I never use the tracing process.
I'll show in a next post, the way i paint with digital tools.
good idea to show short or long tutorials on the subject.
If you don't mind, I will have a suggestion to have :why you don't open a project like "remember the old masters" or "we all love the old masters" os some thing of the kind.
The best artists was doing copies from another great artists, is a good thing to do, I am sure that there are some potential interest from some members artists.
You say :,I like so much to "re"paint our Masters' masterpieces.

I totally agree with you .
Well, still, you are not out of Velazquez colors.ps : i have a little prob with the JPG conversion, from AR3 snapshot to PS.
The result is a bit to "orange" comparing to the original...?
I'll shake this out.
Do you know this reference ? : Juan-de-Pareja
I like his self portrait :
Thank you to remember me Diego Velazquez .
This is my first pleasure, Weeks, to see your artwork and what a pleasure it is! This is so very well done that words simply escape me! The level of detail with the textures and colors is simply remarkable. You've done this master proud!
I was so intrigue with your work, I just had to go check out this master, Diego Velazquez, and I just fell in love with his incredible work - stunning in every way. This is one of the things I love about this forum and viewing others paintings because I also get introduced to some of the old masters' works where I would have never have done on my own. Thanks for sharing and I am so glad you're back to share your talent with us!!!
