Really funny, but .... where are Your muddy footprints?![]()
Panta rei (everything flows)!
If you signed this one you hid it in plain sight. Heh.
Very cute idea. Has a real flavor to it. Your voice is very distinct -- your character as viewer, existing in this space, you and your dog staring at this icon of sloppy expression that has become revered, with the muddy footprints being as much an art -- all depends on what we're hanging.
There's a certain James Thurber quality -- a very personal voice. He wrote a book called "My World and Welcome to It". It had very first person stories along with personal cartoons, as I recall (was a long time ago that I read it). It had a sort of observer just a hair out of step, giving his point of view a sense of delight in character and situations.
The characters you present in this context, it floods the scene with similar charm and appeal, and I like them utterly.
Nice choices you made.

Right. I have no interest in selling it. Haha. But this link shows that.
I was more talking about the book. I was sooooo young when it came on TV, I honestly can't recall what was in it in any detail. I remember liking it though and I really liked the way they integrated drawings. . . if memory serves. The linked picture suggests that they did.
