After the storm - A welcome sight.

It's not a very good rainbow, but a rainbow is what I started out to do. I saved the rainbow for last because I knew it was going to be a struggle. My hands are just not that steady anymore. So, after 2 hours of corrections - it is, what it is.

I think the rest of it is better.

This scenery is very nice, Michael! I wouldn't even know where to begin to paint a rainbow and give you credit for doing so. It all just comes with trying and doing the best you can at the time. At least, that is what I keep telling myself! You definitely get an A for effort from me!

Valerie - Thank you so much.
Justjean - Thanks - very much appreciated.
Alexandra - Thank you. Truly appreciated.
Eileen - Thanks for your kind words. I had never attempted a rainbow before, and, I must say - it was
as hard as I expected it to be. LOL...

Edit - I just took a look at the pic I posted, and it looks like the conversion to jpg really hurt the rainbow at the far end. There's more color in the .png version.
I probably should have raised the transperancy to allow for the conversion.

I like very much this painting geometry, palette, tones and neat areas and elements definition, dear Barnburner! You've definitely got Your own pleasant and unmistakeable style this painting is a further evidence of.
I'm also pretty sure You'll furtherly and delightfully expand Your skills along this promising direction.
    Panta rei (everything flows)!
