    TRON Reloaded

Since I enjoyed the slight glowing effects of RageMan, I wished to play a bit more with them. And I said to myself: What kind of subject would let me play with glowing effects? The answer was immediate: TRON!

Now I started to add some detail to the initial sketch...

The smoothed ink tool is really great! Makes the inking phase a breeze!

I wonder if the picture is well balanced before proceeding. Any hints?

Lol Sketchism! Idea! What about placing a little AR logo in the center of the data-disk?

Added some hilights and shadows... I wonder if I should keep flat shiny surfaces or try to add some noise... anyway the overall look is still flat and needs to be improved.

This is developing the look of a potential tutorial. Great work.

    Hi Uderzo,
This looks great. I remember seeing tron only on some 2nd generation VHS so it was all fuzzy for me
erm.. a couple of suggestions.. imo the left chest plate seems a little smaller & higher compared to the right side one (or v/s)
and foreshortening the farther edge of the pool might heighten the feeling of depth i.e the skiline may appear to move further away and increase the sense of depth.
Hope to see it finished soon

Flyashy, uhmmmm... I knew there was something odd with that chest plate. Agree... must rework it.

For your second hint, sorry but my bad english forbidden me to fully understand it. Can you reformulate please?

P.S. I found an old Disney DVD collectors edition of Tron movie some years ago... I suggest to check this remastered version... even if you can notice some technologic limitations of the special effects (damned DVDs! too much resolution! ), it worths the buy.
