New AR Color Palette Picker Grabber Thingy

    Hi,

One new AR update feature explained.

    It's pretty awesome.

See attached pics, & have some fun.

You can pic a Manet, Whistler, or anything you can grab can become a palette.

And you can pick what fits in the palette template, so the size of your original matters. (i.e. If you want a small portion of your original as a palette, make the pic large. If not, make it small.)

    Hope this helps.

Because there are 4 attachments, this carries over to the next post.

And please ignore the picture numbers. They are not labled right. But they are posted in the proper sequence.

Shhhh.... Andy is always watching 8) !

Imagine if they applied their intuitiveness to other graphic areas. I'd love to see their version of a photo cataloging/picture fixing application. Nah... Adobe or MS would buy them and shut them down!

    Very cool tutorial, D Akey.
ArtRage does have many features, and the manual only touches lightly on many of them. It's great if experienced ArtRage users are able to add richer explanations and tutorials on some of the more obscure features.

    Much appreciated!

Dunno how I missed this post. Or, for that matter, this feature. How embarrassing. I know it's in the Tips & Tricks forum, but I thought this was another mockup of a feature request. *blush*

Thanks for the walkthrough, D Akey, and thanks RageDev for continuing to make AR the best 20 bucks I've spent in a long while.
