    What is the reflection of?

I have been playing around with the metallic glitter and the blur pallet knife setting. I have noticed that there is a picture that has been used for the reflection in all of objects that I created a shinny object of.

Is this a picture of the ArtRage headquarters?

Can the reflection picture be changed?

    Area 51

It is Area 51, of course - where the aliens are imprisoned.

I'd reply but I'm too busy at the moment whistling the theme song from The X-Files.

Yes, every time you use metallics you are seeing the inside of part of the office reflected. Be sure to wave if you see one of us going past!

    Thanks for answering Matt!

Is there any way to change the image? If not in this version, maybe in an up coming version?

I would really like to use this effect to make some Christmas ornament designs and I would like to put a more appropriate image in the reflection.

There's no way to change it currently, we might look at that in the future but it's one of the deep techno-systems that lie behind the simplicity of the app and we have avoided exposing too much of that. It's quite hard to get an image to look right in reflection.

Thanks Matt, I was afraid it would be something like that. It is such a cool effect.

We at least get a look at the ArtRage work environment... even if it is highly distorted.

Would this be considered an Easter Egg?
