Pencil smoothing is available in both versions. There is a pdf which gives a comparison between the two versions available here - www.artrage.com/artrage3.html but if you have any questions feel free to email support@artrage.com or ask here and we'll be happy to help.

    Smile thanks a lot

    thanks a lot for answering.
I had bought the artrage 2.5 2 yrs back.
the pdf file info is not complete. because the features are so distinct and useful, can you please post a very detailed difference. another problem is when we download the demo version we have the studio pro version. so its not possible to know what features will not be there in the lite one.
another question if will the lite version have any greyed out features with a pop up telling its only available in the pro version. it was very irritating with the demo of the 2.5 version. is there any demo only for the lite version.

thanks a lot for answering. wonderful program it is.

The comparison PDF (http://www2.ambientdesign.com/files/...comparison.pdf) should show you all the features that are in only the Pro version. If you see a feature in Pro that's not listed specifically in that document it's generally because it is in both Pro and Studio. We will be doing a demo of Studio as well so that you can try both.

It's important to note that Studio isn't 'Studio Pro Lite'. Studio is a complete product and it doesn't prompt you to upgrade or have features greyed out like the Starter Edition of 2 did. We believe that if you pay for a product you should be able to use it uninterrupted. Studio is aimed at a different type of user and lacks only those features we believe could confuse more basic users or get in the way of painting for people who are not familiar with some of the more advanced concepts.

    Hope that helps!
