Still blindly stumbling through watercolor here (bought AR3 less than a week ago) but having fun trying to learn something about its use.
This probably needs a primary focal point (not sure what) but for now I think I'm done with it. I wanted to break away from the use of line as much as possible (I'm often married to it, it seems to me) and try to establish shape and placement through tone, shadow and highlight. While this picture doesn't do all that I'd hoped for, I think it taught me a bit more about how WC works.
This was nearly all watercolor (with settings all over the map as I experimented) with a scattering of brush and shrub stickers. No reference photo and lots of knife (again with varied settings). Perhaps 1.5 to 2 hours (I'm slow.).
