Byron's Shot at Albert's Red Spot

Here is my contribution to the "Red Spot Series" at the fun thread at
    http://www2.ambientdesign.com/forums...096#post258096
I decided to follow the instructions with extreme precision and rigor.
    • 100% AR3
    • Blow up full screen to get rid of the texture in the compressed JPG in the green around the spot. It's not in the painting and goes away when you blow it up.

But where is the red spot? Oh... I see it! ...and what a shiny red spot it is! Knowing you, you didn't just place it there either. You probably stayed up all night figuring out the correct composition and placement for it. Very cool and fun Byron!

I can see just the perfect shine and placement in this beautifully painted richly oiled highly quality oil painted blob. And the green....well...need I say more?!? It is simply delicious!!!!!

Thanks everybody, a lot of LOL's in here and warm thoughts too. Much appreciated.

Sketch and Robert, insanely, you're inside the ball park more than I'd like to admit. LOL, like, really.

we love balance and symmetry, but what really grabs our attention is that slightly off-center thing. In art, we often address this as a sweet spot, golden mean, pos-neg balance. Whatever it is that grabs me - you did it here.
