    Glitter-less?

Dear AR Tech, still craving the Glitter, but, seems the new AR3 glitter isn't as flashy as the old AR, went back to the old Glorious Glitter thread to see if i was just imagining and did a few tests to compare, the old AR glitter had what i call 'flash' , a quick glint of sparkle and flash that sort of came and went but could still be sustained, truely a magical thing!!! and strangely, if you put on a new layer and went over the glitter with the eraser you could get the glitter to flash even more, can't seem to duplicate this in the new AR3, am i just a flashy-glitter-spoiled brat?xox

Do you have your metallic put on 100% in the color wheel? Makes my glitter pretty flashy in AR3

It ain't called flash anymore, it's called BLING!!

So if we've lost our flash and Bling, that's a terrible thing

Lee, hope you haven't really lost that bling. Tragic thought.

Meanwhile, did a limited apples to apples comparison. See image below:

    The apples:
    • Grit
    • 50% glitter size
    • 100% pressure
    • red and green inks (my greens were not quite an exact color match but I don't think it affected the test results given the lost-bling hypothesis.)
    • zero % metallic and 100% metallic
What's your take on the result???? Bling, or Bling Lost (as in Paradise Lost)

This thread is just too funny

Maybe try the canvas settings, adjust the metallic property of the canvas, just a thought

Dear Silentman, Thank You!!!,you aint got a thing if you aint got that bling!!!!

Dear Byron, Thank You for testing!!!, it is hard to compare as there is a difference in the old and new glitter settings also, me thinks anyway, there was an old glitter i compared to sequins or paietts, there are new glitters now but for instance the settings for 'broken hole punch' and bubble reset themselves, 'bubble' is blingy but bubbley bling just doesn't seem appropriate, anyway, did some bling testing and just can't seem to find the old bling, laughing out loud now, so silly to worry about such things as blings,,, but, miss the old bling anywayxox

I think this falls in the category of "I bling, you bling, we all bling for bling bling."
