Sketch Jr's Art Journey (Update 1/11/10)

Hi! I am sketchism's son. This is my first post & first still life ever.

(Hi from sketchism71 - My son did a still life study on my Starbucks coffee mug today and I am very proud of it! He wanted to make his own gallery here for future artwork... Thanks for checking it out! He is very excited about it. He just turned 7.)

Hey Sketch Jr. it's GREAT to see you here. Your painting is wonderful - fun and well done - a terrific beginning. I hope you'll stick around and post many more paintings, and share your observations of other paintings in the forum too. Welcome aboard.

And meanwhile, by the way, you've got a great dad - he's a great guy and he paints really beautiful pictures.

And your avatar is super. It made me laugh.

That shadow is fun as well! Really gives the picture a sense of being 3D nicely done! (Also, welcome to the forums! Always glad to see new members: means more art to look at )
