    Storm Clouds

When I said my last post was my "last 2.5 post," I guess I lied. A quiet New Year's Eve here and I started doodling (didn't even plug my tablet in; just played with mouse). The doodling turning into fooling around which turned into "I-Kinda-Like-This" which turned into the final pic...not especially polished but fun anyway. Paint tube, oil brush, glitter, air brush and knife on multiple layers.

Since I plan to get AR3 tomorrow or sometime this weekend, this one may actually BE my last 2.5 effort (we'll see!).

If this is fooling around, I need to do more of it.

Great moody landscape. Very ominous! Love dark skies like that!

I quite like this one. I like the movements and pattern you created in the dark sky..it's not just looked like storm clouds, i also can feel that storm is coming and moving.

Thank you all so much for the kind words. The encouragement I've received from you and others in this incredibly supportive forum has been a major factor in whatever advancements I've made in my works. The openness of folks here has made this place a fertile seeding ground for the creative imaginations of countless artists from relative beginners (and I count myself in the group) to polished professionals. And those "pros" have been unbelievably helpful to and supportive of us "new-bees."
Here's to a great 2010 for one and all.

BTW, I now have AR3 Studio Pro; the learning curve begins...
