    Another one surviving the WIP section. The blue in these birds is almost unnatural. Thanks for checking it out!

    Excellent work again!! I've been following the WIP.Interesting bird and colors.Don't see any birds of this type in my area.Mostly BlueJays.Well done.

    Excellent painting, Sketch. Did you use the fur brush for the blue feather. Beautiful bird and that blue color.

    Hang on a minute....I need to catch my breath!!!! Oh my, oh my....OH MY!!!! You talked about my painting, Sketch...!!

    When I saw your WIP, I knew this was going to be a real beaut but when I opened this thread, I still wasn't prepared for this stunning piece and the beauty and realism of it simply took my breath away.... <as I am on my knees bowing to the master>!

    Like Juz, I love that blurred (macro) effect on the background...it really helps bring the bird closer to one's eye.
