How do I change colour of my sketch?

I am painting with the aid of a sketch overlayed on my canvas. However, the picture is at night. This means parts of my sketch disappear into the darker paint.

Is there a way to change the colour of my sketch to, say, white? I need to preserve the transparency of course.

    Many thanks for your help,

There is a little lock icon in top right of the layer on the layers palette that will preserve transparency. You can then just fill with bucket in white or paint into it with white.

Alternatively you can use 'Adjust Layer Colours' from the edit menu if you want more control and also to preserve the original nuance of colour tones in your sketch.

    Thanks Juz,
I used the change layer colour method. Easy when you know how.
