Goodbye Graphire - Hello Cintiq 21

Well I'm finally going to get in this century. Just ordered a Cintiq 21

My poor old original Graphire is going to cry when it see's it's big sister.

    Am I excited? Oh yeah

    Well Andy,

Artrage 3 is what made me decide to get the Cintiq! You made such an awesome program, I needed the ability to paint my little heart out

I'm dancing for you, even as I harbor a deep-seated envy.

    CONGRATULATIONS.

    Well Byron,

I was looking at the Modbook and then it hits me last night, I love my PC. If I bought it, I would have to buy the Mac Camtasia Version to do videos so the Cintiq is the best of all worlds for me.

As a member to this very elite membership, I welcome you to the Wacom Cintiq 21ux Club

Your gonna love it love it love it.

Mine seems to generate a warm spot upper center of the monitor.
Dont ever use it on your lap for 2 reasons...

    1. it's a heavy s.o.b. (Andrew Jones doesn't seem to have a problem with this, since he slings his around like a guitar )

    2. It generates some kind of heat let me tell ya,

but doesn't give me any other problems other than that, just make sure to upload latest drivers, etc etc, yada yada.

And most important, get a smudge guard for your painting hand, they sell those online.

Anyhoots, enjoy to the fullest, Have Fun

Judith and Picasso have together just increased my envy factor exponentially.

Judtih, I hope you will post pictures with this thing slung over your shoulder. I mean, let's face it. You rock. May as well blow out all the stops.

    Thanks Mike,

As to the heat, I'll love it. We get really cold in the winter in the Middle of Washington.

Will buy the smudge guard! Thanks for the tip.
