Fill bucket does not antialiasing edges

Am I just imagining things or the Fill bucket does not antialiasing the edges?

    1. Grab the Ink Pen and set it to a thick, fat black stroke.
    2. Draw some crossing lines so they intersect and thereby the intersection(s) can be filled.
    3. Now grab the Fill bucket and fill the intersection(s) with a color.

Notice that regardless whether the 'Antialias Edge' setting for the Fill bucket is on or off, the filled edges look the same: aliased.

At least that's how it looks to me.

    Hi Pentool,

    A couple of thoughts:

1/ Check your 'spread' dial. If you don't have a high value you may be seeing a halo around the edge due to the antialiased edges of the pen stroke being a different color. I use a fairly high spread value e.g. 90%+ if filling in a block with a constrating color

    2. Do the same thing with 'antialiase edge' turned off and look at the differences side by side.

I'm getting a definite difference here on my system but feel free to post a couple of example screenshots and what the settings you are using are and we'll have a look.

Sorry, it was my mistake. My Spread was down to 10% due to the fact that if I raised it, it filled my whole screen. I did check for gaps and didn't find any visible one, but maybe there was a hairline which caused the overflow above 10%.

But once I set it to 100% or so, and I made sure there are no hairline gaps, it does work correctly.

    Thanks!
