    Legalities

Now that I have purchased ArtRage3, is it within the legal boundaries to install my purchased copy of ArtRage2.5 in my granddaughters machine???

the way I understand it... they said.
if you want to install it on two machines for your own use that is alright.
like a laptop and a desktop.
so optimally, if you used your 2.5 to upgrade you should probably buy a copy of 2.5 for the granddaughter.
that is my understanding... I could be wrong.

Better let the authors clarify this.

When you use your ArtRage 2.x serial number to upgrade (or switch) to ArtRage Studio or ArtRage Studio Pro, you are really 'trading it in'.
Like trading in an old car for a newer one.

However we're not forcing you to give up your ArtRage 2.x application if you still want to keep using it.
But you should not be giving it to someone else to install on their computer. If someone else is getting value out of a commercial copy of ArtRage, they should have their own copy.

I noticed that you can still purchase 2.5 for only $20 now.
