While fooling around with Artrage 3 all of a sudden I realized that if I pressed the pen lightly using the oil brush and moved in a straight line it would draw a straight line between where I started and where I ended like standard paint programs.
Yippee I thought, but now I can't duplicate it.
fwiw had the grass stencil up and it was red, but it didn't matter if I was painting inside the stencil or outside the stencil
Chances are it was an accident. To draw a straight line press Ctrl.
you probably had pressed that key and didn't know it...
on a pc press cntrl then click and drag. you will see a line guide... release the mouse and the line is filled.
on a mac it is apple or cmd key of course.
Hey Charles....I pasted the following info out of the AR3 Manual:
If you hold down Cmd (Mac OS X) / Ctrl (Windows) when you click and hold to paint, a perfectly straight line will be generated. Hold down Shift as well and this line will rotate in 15 degree increments as you
move the mouse.
I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for or not but it does paint straight lines if you need it!!!!
Three times a charm. He can't miss now
That's it, and was what I always wanted. Fooling with the ruler and keeping it on the ruler to draw a straight line was a pain.
