Great one, look forward to seing the finished piece. Really like the tree and moon. But feels like it needs more contrast. And the moon should maybe be a bit brighter?

Thanks for your replies, I Have detailed this a bit more and adjusted brightness and contrast,It looks more interesting now, but I'm still not satisfied, and I think I have lost a little bit of the detail in messing about with it...see what you think ....Jack.

Heres another version...I have attempted a rescue on this to re-gain the definition lost in the one above...It has worked to a degree, and the picture now has a bit better clarity and a little more detail has been added....I think I might still try to improve it further tomoprrow though ' I 've had enough of this one today, hope you can see the differences....Jack.

Don't get me wrong, I really like this picture but there's something that's not right and I can't really put my finger on it. There's something about the colours. Fells like you've been been fiddling with the curves-tool or something like that a bit to much. Have you used the sharpen-filter? Some parts feel to "hard".

But again, I do like the picture!

Jack, just so beautiful. 3rd one is a beauty. The enlarged version is amazing with all details we can trace. Very nice. Congratulations.

perihelion, I have fiddled about with everthing fiddleable matey......Pleased you like the picture though, the colours are a bit dodgy, you are right...its probably due to me doing it almost in the dark, for the night time, then thinking it was too dark lightening it then bringing the colour up to compensate,(perhaps should have left it too dark, trouble is you cant see much in the dark)....lol,Thanks for your reply....Jack.

orianelima ..The third one was the one I was going to use as a desktop picture but the colour is a bit Iffy through doing it tooooooo dark in the first instance,it just didnt look right when I lightened it a bit,yes I tried to make this one interesting by doing it in such a size that you could magnify it and kind of go in and look around, that was the idea, glad you tried that out ,...it does have detail in that can be easily missed at normal size, thanks for looking.....Jack.
