Although I was a drummer and not a guitarist, Les Paul was from my home town and so in addition to his being a "god" in the musical pantheon, he was a neighbor. He was in town earlier this year, playing and granting numerous interviews; not only a wonderful musician and innovator, he was a kind, patient and noble human being who struck a positive chord with all who knew him.

I can hear it too. . .on YouTube. Hahah. Not what you meant, I know. Great record!!!! Thanks for sharing it.

I must confess that his music was just ahead of me, and this link shows what I missed. It's a great recording and probably was a fairly new sound back than. Was it?

Can you imagine contributing something, like his part in the electric guitar, that impacted so many people. Would be worth living long just to groove on the ripples.
