Whats your favorite Rock Band from the 60's to date

My favorite all time rock band is Crowded House, i was digging through my boxes and came across the "all time greatest hits cd i have" i ripped into the pc and i'm having a blast listening to it now

I find that music helps to put me at ease when i'm painting, it can be anything from classical to new age instrumental, what ever takes my fancy on the day.

So... what's your favorite all time rock band or music from the 60's right to today, as i know there are some fairly young members here ??

Crowded House, I must check this one out. I have different ones too. I love Led Zep especially. I am enjoying Big Head Todd at the moment-Sister Sweetly. Zoning out at the moment though-must turn in here at the other side of the globe.

    I don't need no doctor

I would have to say anything by Humble Pie,
especially the Live recording, just spectacular.

    A band???
    A single band???
    As in only one???

Sheesh! Now THAT'S a tough challenge. Stones? Springstein? Bowie? Flamin' Groovies? Zeppelin? ELP? Beatles? (I know, I know...not especially original but hey, I like 'em). Or any of many many more...
    Hmmmmmmmmmmm...
    Still thinking...

I suppose if I absolutely positively no-way-out-of-it had to pick a single name ...I'd have to go with Pink Floyd. (Often have them on when writing, ArtRaging or whatevering...

Okay. Spike Jones and the City Slickers. They were a comedy band.
    Chicago. Still like them.

Lol Flashy, you cheater you hehehe

Beatles is great i have many favorites, so is Led Zeplin, keep them coming, i might even have to change my mind.

If there was any cd that you've longed for, or if you'd lost a cd and desperately wanted to find it, what band was on it. This is what prompted me to post the question, besides having something to yak about lol

I had lost my copy of Crowded House and for months i wanted them back, now i have found them
