alright! here is just a very brief demo of how i get smooth shading in AR.
-Gzairborne -was asking about it and my tools and setting.
so the tool i use is the -Crayon- and the setting i got from a person on this forum. Im sorry i cant remember there name so if any one knows who it was PLZ give them credit!!
*Crayon- Pressure 30-35%
- Softness 50%
ok mainly to get the smooth look all you do is add a Hard line then lightly drag out some of the color from that line and then beside what youve brought out you make another hard line of whatever color and then do the same smokey pull back into the first color. Mainly the technique is just small circles going in and out of the 1st color and the 2nd color to blend them together. here is a crappy lil sketch i made to try and show you guys. (sorry) lol Mainly the idea so get it like smoke, then to fill with mass. Im not good at this so i hope it helps. Also you dont have to change color so blend what youve already done just lightly press and go over all of it to refine it and ITs ALL ABOUT THE CIRCLES. Like how tattoo artist shade. This technique will work with pretty much all mediums. I actually started doing this technique with my pencil work.
