Question Transition From.. Free to Paid!

    Hi

Yesterday I installed the ( Free ) Starter Edition of - ArtRage 2.5
    However!
I now wish I'd just gone straight for the Full Edition

    My Question Is...

Do I need to uninstall the Starter Edition .. Before installing the Full Edition?
    OR
Is there a way I can just buy my Product Key .. & .. Convert the Starter Edition into the Full Edition?

    Thanks In Advance!

You're sorted, then - but you can have both at once, if you want ^_^

Welcome to the forums! Regarding the original question, ArtRage Starter Edition is installed by default to a different folder than the Full Edition, so you can remove the Starter Edition after installation of the Full Edition without affecting the Full Edition.

The Starter Edition doesn't have the extra features within it to unlock, so there's no place in that version to add the key.

I guess it's because I was actually able to see the extra features that I couldn't use in the Starter Edition of ArtRage.. That I thought perhaps I just needed to buy a Product Key to unlock them.
    But In The End...
I did Uninstall the Starter Edition
Then I bought and Installed the Full Edition

I only found out about ArtRage when I was looking at Graphics Tablets on the PC World website.
I'm buying a Wacom Fun for my son for his 13th Birthday. And knowing how much use he will actually get out of the Wacom will all depend on what software comes with it.
I thought it best to check out what software does come with it first.. Before Buying!
Well It Was A Bit Confusing!
    PC World Says...
Small Wacom Includes - Photoshop Elements & ArtRage 2
Medium Wacom Just Says - In conjunction with Adobe Photoshop
    The Actual Wacom Website Says...
That the Wacom Fun Comes With - Adobe Photoshop Elements 6.0 Corel Painter Essentials 4.0, and Nik Color Efex Pro 3.0

So! .. Rather confused about what software my sons Wacom will actually come with.
I Thought... " Well I can pretty much guess what Adobe Photoshop is all about. "
But the name that stuck out the most .. & .. The one that sounded most like my sons kind of thing.. ArtRage
So! .. I decided to have a look at the ArtRage website.
Well! .. When I saw you had a Free version .. I Thought.. " May as well check it out! "
    But I Got Hooked!
And by the next day I couldn't resist buying myself the Full Version.
Now all I need is for someone to buy me a Wacom Fun for My Birthday ... Not Much Chance Of That!

Thank you so much for making ArtRage affordable for normal people.
Even if my Sons Wacom doesn't come with ArtRage .. I'll Still Buy It For Him!
As I Know He's Gonna Love It As Much As I Do!

    One Question Please!
When my son gets his ArtRage - ( Whether it be with his Wacom .. or .. Me buying his ArtRage like I did mine )
Do I just Register his ArtRage .. & .. Store his Product Key with Mine?
    OR
Should I keep everything separate for him?
    e.g.
Register his ArtRage in his name?

    Note!
My ArtRage is on my - Laptop
Sons Wacom & ArtRage will be on his - Desktop

Sorry I've Waffled On So Much!

    Thanks!
