    I am NOT an artist.

For some reason my keyboard hits the wrong keys too.
I am not an artist. I taught myself drawing from books while I was working in Saudi. I now live in the Philippines and have started again.
I stopped drawing for a few years and am just getting back to it so I can make some characters for a computer game. (Short term goal.)
My long term goal is to stay occupied for at least a few more years.
(I am 69, have had a kidney removed in the last year, and am retired.)
    Am I the only non-artist?

Welcome to the old peoples club Ray hehe

Just kidding, Welcome to the family, i hope you enjoy your stay.

To answer your question, from my point of view the ArtRage family is made up of a good mixture of pro and no pro artists alike, the best part is, is that the pro's are very friendly and very happy to share all they know, i am part of other forums and this is my favorite forum by far, actually this has become my home

Many like myself are far from being an artist. But the main idea is to have fun. I started off using just the oil brush, then I added glitter gun w/o the glitter. Every painting I try something new - crayon, spray, etc. Enjoy.

I, too, am not an artist, but find that with computer art programs I am able to create things that I could never do using traditional materials.

The idea is to just have fun with the program and you just might find you have a creative side which you never realized you had previously.
