a wip of kids book page

    Hi everyone,

This is going to be a WIP of a kids book page from a book I'm currently working on called "The Adventures of the Forest Wuffel" I will try to explain each level of the whip..darn whish I had that video thingy to do this with hahaha anyway....

Pic 1 is the basic blue line sketch of The Back Ground
Pic 2 is my first color lay in using the brush just to get a feel of the colors of the stones in front of the tree.
Pic 3 is laying in all the basic color of the background using the tube of paint.
pic 4 is the BG colors all rolled down to fill the BG in.....
Pic 5 is the character that will be in the pic. This is a Wuffel...DOn't ask me why but this is a forest wuffel hehehe

So sit back and I hope you all enjoy this little journey. So far this has taken me an hour including setting up this thread in the forum.

I don't know why people don't follow sometimes.

I think this is great, and indeed i have learn't something from you, and that's make good liberal use of the paint tube and the pallet knife

What i do find is when i come online in the morning, which is usually when all others are asleep and the days posting has been done, i am overwhelmed by the amount of posts especially in the gallery section, there are so many i couldn't possibly follow them all

Here are 3 more pics as I go along....This is the style the publisher wants. All I have to do is draw the Wuffel in a 3/4 view as if he's walking away from his Den in the tree and paint him so now it's back to the drawing board for the wuffel hehe

Oh and Silentman, don't ever be to stingy on the paint ..it dosen't cost anything hahahaha I'm glad
This will show you something you didn't realize before.... just as in my "Stroll to the Bistro" painting over in the Gallery section. I used every tool in here and it taught me a lot and other lil tricks as well. Have fun with this program it is the greatist!
