Thread: Grace and Power

    Grace and Power

Wanted to capture two seemingly incompatible aspects of a breaking wave...it's graceful delicacy, and it's awesome power.
Done on ArtRage with acrylic, palette knife, and pencil tools.

Like the paintings title and subject, it too has grace and power. Very well done.

Was this done in ArtRage or real media? You mention Acrylic, so I'm guessing real media???

Either way it's an awesome painting.

Thats wonderful Thomas. It's so powerful, strong and the colours are terrific. I like it very much.

What a masterful depiction of the strength and force of the ocean's waves. Excellent job...you have a true ability to capture this with paint and brush!!!
