    Those photos, like many of yours, are great. I really like the one of the tree with the spattering of light on the ground around it. Thanks for posting them!

    Those are gorgeous! Just plain gorgeous.....I think the ones with the grasses in the foreground are especially well-captured...

    Fraser, these are outstanding! I´ve only been to the Lake District once, doing all the literary pilgrimage stuff. But I spent years with Wordsworth and the other Lake poets (well, not with him but with his works ) and I even made it to John Ruskin and Beatrix Potter´s homes.
    The only problem with humor is that no one takes it seriously.
